I'm afraid I must respectfully differ in my opinion of what a 'shy violet' would look like. The color you distribute as such would perhaps be more aptly described as hot pink, or, to try to find an equally evocative image as 'shy violet', perhaps something along the lines of 'costume for a cheap whore on miami vice'.

I understand that this wouldn't fit as easily on the label, though, so I am open to further suggestions.

Of course, I'm also open to the possibility that the color mixing machine at Home Depot messed up- wouldn't be the first time, since two cans of 'Garland' haven't matched at all. Besides, this theory allows me to cling to some faith in my wife's decision making skills, and I like that.

At the moment, I'm not quite as green as my icon, but almost. Time to shower and head out for some free theatre in the park. Maybe I should eat today too.

Oh, Dear god. It should be a deep purple color. Not anything near hot pink. I am terrified.

Hope you enjoy theater in the park. Going to see 3 Musketeers?

No, I did not. Turns out it was Home Depot's mistake anyway- they just mixed it wrong. Maybe the blue dye nozzle was clogged or something...
